BHRAG holds an authoritative collection of artworks that narrate Broken Hill’s mining and union history. Hundreds of etchings by J. C. Goodhart and Robert Emerson Curtis depict Broken Hill’s mining development in some detail, while the naïve style paintings of Sam Byrne and the social realist works of Noel Counihan illustrate a more human side to the mining industry and union activities.
