Performance Lecture Hannah Bertram
Join artist and academic Dr Hannah Bertram for a lecture on the history of Performance Art as she grapples with historical touchstones, the complexities of documentation and the very nature of ephemerality.

This talk is designed for people of all knowledge levels to access art history through non-academic language and easy-to follow reference points. This talk is for anyone who struggles with, loves, hates, or is curious about Modern and Contemporary Art.

This lecture is presented as part of returning to a subject through a lifetime: part one, which includes a new commission by Dr Hannah Bertram. The exhibition is on show until Sunday 3rd July 2022.

About Dr Hannah Bertram

Dr Hannah Bertram is an artist and art educator. Her temporary installations made from dust have been exhibited in Australia, USA, Paris and Hong Kong and are featured in several books on Australian art. She completed a PhD. at the University of Melbourne and was a lecturer in Contemporary Art at Deakin University prior to moving to Broken Hill.
