Sculpture and Installation Workshop
As part of her project developed for Broken Hill Regional Art Gallery's 2021 Artist in Residence program, Melbourne-based artist Meagan Streader looks outwards to the landscape to create site-specific installations. Presented across three locations, Streader’s spatial interventions ask us to consider the sun’s immense light through interactivity, illumination and reflection.
In this workshop, Meagan will introduce participants to the possibilities of retroreflective fabric, asking us to reflect on how we interact with light in Broken Hill and the Far West. You'll create your own site-specific reflective installations through sculptural practices and installation techniques.
This workshop is FREE (limited capacity) as part of BHRAG's 2021 Artist in Residence Program. Secure your place using the form below.
