Since opening in 1904 the Broken Hill City Art Gallery (BHCAG) has relied on the generosity of the community to build the city's collection that we share and enjoy today.
With over nine million dollars worth of art from around the world, that not only reflects our past and present, but also influences our future. Through the gallery, the people of Broken Hill have inherited what is undoubtedly the finest art collection in the Far West Region of NSW, Australia and we need your help to maintain its legacy and to extend the gallery’s relevance into the future.
We are also working hard to embrace future generations. Encouraging children to engage with BHCAG and share a richer gallery experience is as important for their development as it is for the our longevity as a cultural institution in the community.
