Art After Dark

Wind down your week with a drink in hand as the Gallery comes alive after hours. Art After Dark is our new bi-monthly evening program that mixes a relaxed bar atmosphere with artist talks, live demonstrations, music, and a drop-in life drawing workshop. Explore the exhibitions, enjoy a casual night out, and experience the Gallery in a whole new light.

October Event Highlights

Artist talks & demonstrations:
- Artist talk + Q&A with Barkandji artist & 2025 Pro Hart Outback Art Prize winner, Krystle Evans
- Artist talk with animator Jarrod Prince + live animation demonstration
- Artist talk with artist Kelly Leonard + live weaving demonstration
Drop-in life drawing workshop with a nude model in the workshop space (18+ only in this area). Sessions run for 30 minutes with breaks in between.
Live music from Jayneen & Glendon Harris.
Bar service available all evening.

Art After Dark is designed to be flexible, you can attend one activity, join several, or simply come along to enjoy a drink, socialise, and explore the exhibitions. It’s also the perfect chance to see the Gallery if you can’t make it during the day.
