Wind down your week with a drink in hand as the Gallery comes alive after hours. Art After Dark is our new bi-monthly evening program that mixes a relaxed bar atmosphere with artist talks, live demonstrations, music, and a drop-in life drawing workshop. Explore the exhibitions, enjoy a casual night out, and experience the Gallery in a whole new light. 


MAY EVENT HIGHLIGHTS

Enjoy an inspiring after-hours evening at the Gallery featuring a Q&A and interactive live weaving with exhibiting artist Ann Evers, plus a special appearance and Q+A with poet Louise Moriarty. Louise will create personalised handwritten poems for guests on the night, offering thoughtful words that celebrate connection, creativity and being truly seen. Plus live music, life drawing, light refreshments and bar facilities.

Friday 22 May - EVENT SCHEDULE

6:00 pm – Doors open
Bar open, light refreshments available, and exhibitions open for viewing throughout the evening.

6:05 pm – Alyce Pogson live music
6:10 pm onwards – Personalised handwritten poems with Louise Moriarty throughout the evening
6:20 pm onwards – Life drawing hosted by Jarrod Prince (upstairs gallery)
6:50 pm – Ann Evers artist Q&A in Footsteps in the Desert
7:30 pm onwards – Interactive weaving with Ann Evers
7:50 pm – Louise Moriarty poet Q&A
8:20 pm – Alyce Pogson live music second set

Art After Dark is designed to be flexible, you can attend one activity, join several, or simply come along to enjoy a drink, socialise, and explore the exhibitions. It’s also the perfect chance to see the Gallery if you can’t make it during the day.

All ages are welcome.
