Celebrating bold ideas, refined skills, and the issues that matter to young people today, ARTEXPRESS 2026 presents a selection of outstanding bodies of work developed for the 2025 HSC Visual Arts examination.

Working across a wide range of expressive forms — including ceramics, drawing, photomedia, painting, printmaking, textiles and fibre, sculpture and time-based forms — these works demonstrate technical confidence, conceptual strength, and a diverse range of perspectives.

Together, they offer a compelling snapshot of contemporary art practice and the creative voices of the next generation.

ARTEXPRESS is a joint partnership between the NSW Department of Education and the NSW Education Standards Authority.
