A relaxed, studio-style session for teens to experiment with painting in a more expressive way.

Working on large canvases, participants will explore acrylic painting using a range of unexpected materials to create texture and depth - including lace, bubble wrap and other found surfaces.

This session is all about trying new techniques, building confidence, and creating bold, individual work. Teens have full creative control - whether that’s something completely abstract or a more traditional subject like a still life or portrait, with unexpected textures layered throughout. Your finished artwork will be displayed in the gallery for the remainder of the school holidays, before you take it home to enjoy.
