The Broken Hill City Art Gallery, Maari Ma Health Aboriginal Health Corporation and West Darling Arts are proud to support the 2023 Maari Ma Indigenous Art Awards. The aim of the prize is to provide an opportunity to showcase and celebrate art works and creativity by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists residing in the Maari Ma / West Darling Arts region.

The Broken Hill City Art Gallery is pleased to announce that they have partnered with the Blak Markets this year and will be hosting the Blak Markets on the Opening Night of the 29th September.

The prize in non-acquisitive.

Key Dates:

Entries Open – 21st July, 2023

Entries Close – 22nd September, 2023

Artwork delivery – No later than 22nd September, 2023 between the hours of 10am and 4pm. Artworks are to be delivered to the Albert Kersten Mining and Minerals Museum, Bromide St & Crystal Street, Broken Hill New South Wales 2880 ·

Exhibition Dates – 29th September 2023 to 8th December 2023
