Gaara Arts Inc - a group of local female artists who have lived experience of life’s transformations and its personal milestones. Change is inevitable. Life itself is impermanent. The fluidity of existence highlights that transformation is essential for renewal, growth and progress. This is true for Nature or the physical world.
As artists, we embrace the metamorphosis of a subject, an idea or even the progression of our own style as it transforms over time. How we see the world and how we reveal this change to others, is influenced by shifts in cultural beliefs, societal values, technology, and radical movements that have challenged the status quo. The Impressionists, Surrealists, Cubists and Pop Artists rejected academic traditions and transformed what was previously accepted into abstraction and often absurdity. We are all being challenged to look at our world in a different way.
